Comic Book (Marvel)

Ren and Stimpy Show creator John Kricfalusi created a number of other characters for that series such as George Liquor. As the Nickelodeon cable TV station was far less impressed with these latter day additions, they weren’t interested in adding them to the already strange cast of characters in Ren and Stimpy. Kricfalusi was free to take full rights to these characters and instead of animating them, he produced them for the comic book format. This oversize magazine series was first published by Marvel (who also published a comic book version of Ren and Stimpy), then soon taken over by Dark Horse. Definitely for fans of Kricfalusi’s bizarre humor and extreme action poses.
