Holden Carver built a life for himself as a “sleeper” agent, operating under very deep cover at the behest of Internal Operations and its ruthless boss, John Lynch. Partnered up with an unusual group including a werewolf and a disturbed ex-girlfriend, he’ll convince IO that he’s serious about his new career, or die trying. As he struggles to deal with powers he’s reluctant to use and assignments he’s reluctant to take, he wonders where his loyalty lies, and what parts of his life are truth—and what are mere shadows.

This gritty and fast–paced espionage series is written by Ed Brubaker and drawn by Sean Phillips. A critically acclaimed and very cool bit of comic book entertainment.
