It was a dark and stormy night… for Tommy “The Lion” Leoni, it was also the last night he ever saw. Powered by a terrifying supernatural force known simply as The Darkness, Jackie Estacado, himself an erstwhile mobster, bestows his own unique brand of justice on Leoni—the man responsible for the explosives that caused 17 deaths at the orphanage Jackie used to call home.

Setting the stage for the 2003 re–launch of The Darkness, this one–shot also contains Paul Jenkin’s original script for the story, and was available in limited quantities with special Dynamic Forces alternate covers.
