Wonder Comix has published an eclectic potpourri of fiction, poetry and artwork as a self-defined “fusion” comic. It appears the only reason for the book’s existence is an advertisement for the publisher’s services. The publisher specializes in realism, surrealism, computer-generated science fiction and fantasy illustration, as well as clear, readable cartooning, line art and sequential art. That’s what they do but where are the original stories and meaningful characters? Perhaps it’s the new format for the new millennium.
