In the aftermath of Onslaught, Hercules returns to Earth only to discover many of the planet’s heroes have mysteriously disappeared. Hercules is especially troubled by their disappearance, as his mind turns back to his ancient adventures and the comrades-in-arms and lovers he lost along the way.

Once again living as a mortal, Hercules decides that he must assault Olympus to consult the Scrying Pool in order to learn the fate of his comrades. But who will help him?

Meanwhile, with no one to stop him, the Hulk is rampaging through Fargo, South Dakota. Can Hercules stop the destruction and convince the jade giant to help him assault Olympus, or will an all-out battle between the Hulk and Herc ensue?
