In only ten pages this black-and-white mini-comic one-shot shows both the comic and tragic sides of the tooth fairy. The first story recounts the antics of two brothers, one with a loose tooth, the other determined to help pull the tooth so they can split the take from the tooth fairy.

The second story gives a much grimmer view of the “quarters for dentition” concept. A man down on his luck is robbed of the few dollars he had remaining, and the rent is due for his pay-by-the-week apartment.

Haunted by thoughts of winding up on the street he comes to the conclusion that the tooth fairy and a pair of pliers may be his only hope.
