An untold tale from Green Hornet Paul Reid’s early days, this three-issue mini-series set in 1991 shows his reservations about carrying on his family’s tradition and the reason for his eventual acceptance of his destiny.

The Green Hornet makes an uneasy bargain with the local mob chieftain, Boss Snark, to bring down the corrupt government headed by Mayor Leon Marshall. Marshall and his cronies run the city like a police state, taking over the newspapers and other media with a Gestapo-like “special police” force. Added to this tableau, is the mysterious Black Hornet, a character that causes some complications for the as-yet-unproven Paul Reid.
