Marvel Nemesis: The Imperfects

An alien race has discovered a way to make nature’s creatures more perfect. Unfortunately, their improvements only last a few seconds before the creatures are killed; they aren’t strong enough survive the experimental procedures. As the aliens flee from pursuing invaders, they realize the solution is to find tougher test subjects. They find them on Earth, in the form of powerful heroes including The Thing, Spider-Man, Wolverine, and Elektra.

This limited series is also a video game tie-in, but whether in spite of or because of that connection, it’s a cool, fun ride. The title is written by Greg Pak and drawn by Renato Arlem, and features striking covers by Jae Lee.
