Not long after the first Marvel Knights series ended, the second series began with someone making a move to take over the New York underworld, and the Punisher wants to know who’s leaning on the city’s crime bosses and making them nervous. So, he calls in pals, Daredevil and the Black Widow, and they join him in his crusade to take down the mysterious Brothers Grace, mysterious would-be kingpins who are out to create the largest, most powerful criminal empire on the face of the earth. Sounds like a pretty good reason for three loners to team-up and play nice on a monthly basis.
