Angel Love

    (DC, 1986-1987)
™ and ©1986 DC Comics, Inc.

Angel Love is just your ordinary single woman trying to make a go of life and love in the big city. Although her real love is drawing, she’s currently earning a living as a waitress in a hamburger bar called Balloon. Her roommate, Wendy Thorn, is a fledgling actress who practices her soap commercial parts nonstop on her hapless roommate. The two of them live together in an apartment complex filled with friendly roaches who rate Angel’s dates on a 1–10 scale.

Created by Barbara Slate (Stanley and His Monster), Angel Love is a charming look at the dreams and aspirations of its star-crossed heroine.
