Ginger Fox is the reigning screen queen at Peppertree Studios in Hollywood. While preparing to launch into a new movie, she has to duck the slings and arrows of gossip columnist Tammy True, fend off her actor ex-husband who’s still bitter that she became a star instead of him, and somehow deal with her boyfriend, Jason Wu, who is fooling around behind her back in Italy with a sexy Italian starlet.

If you’re not getting any of this, don’t worry. It’s all just part of the mixed-up Hollywood scene of this four-issue mini-series. Here, everyone’s out to get something, nothing is what it appears, and all the scenes are decorated with all the glimmer and glitz of show business.

This 1988 mini-series was written Mike Baron (Badger, Nexus), and drawn in slick, Art Deco style by the Pander Brothers.
