Marvel Milestone Edition: Amazing Spider-Man
(Marvel, 1992-1995)
™ and ©1995 Marvel Entertainment Group, Inc.
The Marvel Milestone Editions are reprints of some of the most famous comics Marvel has ever published. The Amazing Spider-Man editions include reprints of Amazing Spider-Man #1 (his first regular comic, and the first appearance of J. Jonah Jameson), Amazing Spider-Man #3 (where the nefarious Doctor Octopus came into being) and Amazing Spider-Man #129 (the first appearance of the Punisher and the Jackal). Although for years treated as nothing more than a footnote in ASM #129, the Jackal has more recently become known as the mastermind behind the Spider-Man clone saga.
Each $2.95 milestone edition reprints the original comic in full, along with the letters pages and ads. They’re a wonderful step back in time, and a great way for readers to experience the wonder of the early Marvel Universe.
