Adolf Hitler, the former German dictator who oversaw the tragedies of World War II and The Holocaust, occupies a singular place in history as the most despised man of the 20th century. But while history—and his own actions—paint him as a monster, this biographical comic series points out that he was also a man. Taking us from his childhood in Austria to his adulthood in Germany, the objective look at the man tells us more about him than many know. First, he was a failed artist, a soldier, and many other things before becoming the dictator that history remembers.

A comic book about Hitler may not sit well with some readers, but writer/artist Ted Nomura argues that the best way to avoid repeating history is to learn from it. Published in black and white.
