Yet another attempt at comics for the famed Rock-n-Roll band as they try on their alter egos of The Demon, The Cat, Starchild and the Celestial once again. This time written by Adventures of Superman writer Joe Casey with impressive art by Mel Rubi, the series takes a familiar tack pitting the super-hero band mates against the forces of evil. Having been separated from their secret lives, the four are called back together by strange events and “cosmic happenings.” The nostalgic yearning for everything 30-somethings experienced as teenyboppers and is the hot ticket of the moment and this fits right into that niche of books.
