Superman Plus

Almost everyone enjoys seeing super-heroes team up, and DC Comics took advantage of that interest with their “plus” series of books, pairing popular heroes with oft-unlikely partners. Here the encounter begins when Superman, busy saving innocents at a Metropolis mall, runs into the Legion of Super-Heroes, stranded in our time and unable to return to their home in the 30th century. Superman isn’t too happy to see them, seeing as they freed his enemy Brainiac in a previous effort to use his genius to aid them in their quest. Still, the Man of Steel is willing to let bygones be bygones, and he has an idea. Perhaps the advanced Kryptonian science at his Fortress of Solitude can help them. Unfortunately, that solution may cause more problems than it solves…Kryptonian science is tricky business.

This extra-long one-shot is written by Tom Peyer and drawn by Bernard Chang, and one of a series of “plus” books DC published at one time.
