Captain Carrot and His Amazing Zoo Crew

Guess what Roger Rabbit did in the early 1980s? (Before the movie “Who Framed Roger Rabbit?” revived his screen career, that is.) He had just settled down into the life of a super-hero cartoonist, when an irradiated carrot turned our mild-mannered cartoon bunny into Captain Carrot, out to save the world with a little help from his friends: Pig-Iron, the Swine of Steel; Alley-Kat-Abra, a feline sorceress; Fastback, the Reptilian Rocket; Rubberduck; Yankee Poodle and, making an appearance in the first issue for his friend, Superman.

Alas, this comic only ran for a year and a half before Roger was fired and (apparently) sold his contract back to Disney.
