Untold Tales of Lady Death

    (Chaos, 2000)
™ and ©2000 Chaos! Comics

With her prodigious bust line and porcelain complexion, Lady Death became tremendously popular in 1993 when she debuted in Evil Ernie #1. But she wasn’t always the ruthless challenger for the throne of hell. As was revealed in the Lady Death (Mini-Series), she was a hapless pawn of her treacherous father, Mathias. His betrayal resulted in his daughter Hope, being consigned to the depths of hell. But rather than succumb to the horror, she challenged her father and Lucifer himself, for supremacy.

Her origin is expanded in this one shot, told from the perspective of Cremator, the blacksmith for the lords of hell, who became her friend and ally and who forged her blade, Darkness.

With an uncommonly complex backstory to supplement the pinup art, this character has withstood the passing of the bad girl craze of the early 1990s of which she was a prime example.
