One can always count on combat magician William Gravel having a bad day. Why should today be any different? When the reason behind a series of grisly murders in London turns out to be mystical, a reluctant Gravel is brought in to work the case. The murders start with an occult ritual called the Muti, and will end in violent race wars unless Gravel can stop them in time. The investigation leads through Neo-Nazis, South African witch doctors and far too much racial hatred. This is William Gravel, and author Warren Ellis, at their sardonic best.
