Six months ago, Judy Tanner’s husband, Jack, was killed, dying as she cradled him in her arms. That was neither the start, nor the end of her nightmare.

Her husband had been a member of a secret organization and had worn the leather costume of “the Extremist.” He was part of a seamy underworld in San Francisco, one of fanatical beliefs, perverse sex, and cold, heartless murder.

Lured in by tragedy and a new lover who calls himself Patrick, Judy has now joined that world. Drawn in like a moth to a flame, she finds herself unable to resist the dark allure of the Extremist. In time, Judy’s nightmare becomes her only world. And Judy had truly become the Extremist.
