Boof and the Bruise Crew

Boof is an ornery little alien who looks a bit like a bulldog with a Mohawk hairstyle. He and his crew were on their way through the galaxy when they crash-landed in a treetop in “your normal middle American town.” The tree in question belonged to Nick, your normal American ten-year-old, and was guarded by Nick’s faithful dog Buddy. Buddy decided to fend off the alien threat by lifting his hind leg—and the rest was all downhill from there. The Bruise Crew (Bunny, Opee, Sarge, Zeek, and their mission robot) have the good fortune to arrive on Halloween, where they fit right in with the costumed trick-or-treaters. They even go as far as crashing a Halloween party so Boof can search for candy to scarf down.

Boof and his Bruise Crew is definitely geared toward kids—in an obnoxious, out-of-control fashion. It was written by Beau Smith for Todd McFarlane Productions, best known for the more adult-oriented Spawn.
