The abominable doll Chucky went from movies to comics when Innovation introduced this 1991 series. Child’s Play was the story of a killer’s soul trapped in the plastic body of a child’s doll. This three-foot terror then used knives, scissors, and outright savagery to murder again and again.

After being destroyed in the first movie, the killer’s soul somehow finds itself transferred into another “Good Guys” doll body. As soon as the machinery attached the requisite arms and legs, he made a break for it. He was picked up by Russ, a foolish teenager with a fascination for the occult. Russ and his friends thought of Chucky as an instant celebrity, and agreed to hold a seance to try to find out information from beyond the grave that might help Chucky find a new body. No sooner had the seance concluded, however, than Chucky grabbed a kitchen knife and repaid their hospitality in his usual manner. For Chucky, murder is just one of his favorite games…
