Spike and Tyke (M.G.M.’s…)

Spike and Tyke were a doggy-daddy and pup combination that drew laughs on the screen as well as in comic books. Spike, a “blue collar” bulldog, takes care of his spirited young son Tyke, who has a mischievous streak more than big enough to make up for his diminutive size. Spike is a pretty understanding father to Tyke, helping him get out of all kinds of wild situations. Lighthearted, wholesome, funny, and fun, Spike and Tyke was one of Dell’s best comic book adaptations of animated characters.
