Featuring a hauntingly beautiful cover from comics great Tom Mandrake (Spectre, etc.), this anthology is both a testimonial to the participants and victims of war, and an affirmation of the fundamental horror that is always a part of war, no matter how justified it may seem. Like all good war books, the stories themselves encompass several secondary themes, including horror, science fiction, romance, religion, and political commentary.

Though an “Indy” publication, the quality of both the content and production should make the book appealing to mainstream fans as well. The contributing artists and writers include Dave Samuelson (Holliday), Jason Wright (Batgirl), Ethan Zaharia, Jeff Stevens, Deb Blazer, Damon Hurd, and Robert Jeschonek (Star Trek, Amazing Heroes magazine).
