In the aftermath of the atomic bombings of Japanese cities at the end of World War II, children with super powers were born to U.S. service personnel present in the area. Hidden by the government, these children were contained and studied as they grew. Now, in 1967, the most powerful of these mutants have been turned into an experimental fighting unit and sent to Vietnam to test the viability of super-human troops in the field. Armageddon Patrol consists of field leader Maiden America, with Auto, Red, Mitchell, Chain, Seer, Skewer, 13, and O’Neil rounding out the group. They are occasionally joined by the Air Force’s very first robot soldier from the top secret science research center, Area 51.
