Just about everyone knows Sabrina The Teenage Witch and her Riverdale friends—Archie, Betty, Veronica, Jughead and the gang. These characters make up some of comics longest running series and characters, popular because they are fun, easy to read, and parents hardly ever object to the stories of teen life that have been safe for kids to read for decades. Now Archie Comics has decided to try a new look to their old classics—the popular manga style first brought to us from Japan. Many readers enjoy the style, but will they hold still for a new version of their beloved teens from Riverdale? It is possible it might attract some manga fans to the titles, but it most likely will never replace the mainstream style that has worked so well over the years.
