This anthology title from Bill Black’s AC Comics is hosted by Buckaroo Betty and features the Haunted Horseman, the Durango Kid, and Tim Holt—all refugees from Magazine Enterprises titles of the late 1940s and the early 1950s. The Haunted Horseman was originally called the Ghost Rider, but Marvel has since used the name for a similar Western hero in the late 1960s, and finally adopted the name as the nom de guerre for the skull-headed, motorcycle-riding demon who took to the streets in the early 1970s. This is vintage material from one of the industry’s leading preservationist publishers.
