™ and ©1995 the characters’ respective creators

J.A.G. is a black-and-white anthology from Thwack! Pow! Productions. The title draws its name from the first initials of the three creators whose works are featured in it: J for Josh Lindeman; A is for Alberto Melendez; and G is for Garth Haslam.

Melendez leads off the first issue with Tin Man, a futuristic robot on a quest to meet his maker and question him about his existence. Lindeman follows with Savior, the story of a man who is the only hope for a dying civilization. The last story is most notable: Haslam’s “Big Wolf, the Articulated Series.” This is a spoof on the Batman Animated Series in which the Robin-like character is the leader, and Big Wolf is a dumb clod.
