Dothenridge: Tales of the Vampire Monarchy

    (Dothenridge, 1997)
™ and ©1997

Maximus Ostem always wanted the best possible life for his country and his people. Becoming a vampire didn’t change that desire. Instead it gave him the time and power he needed to build Dothenridge into a mighty kingdom. For over 300 years, the Vampire Lord has led his countrymen through one victory after another. Of course, no great empire ever rises to power without eventually encountering opposition.

The armies of the Surinian States vastly outnumber Maximus’s forces, and are on the verge of complete victory. Maximus’s last hope for escaping obliteration now rests with the spy he has managed to plant in the enemy camp. Unfortunately, even a man with centuries of experience in politics and warfare like the Vampire Lord can make some very bad decisions. For though Homer Hightree might be a loyal and good friend, he, most definitely is not a good spy!
