Gorgana’s Ghoul Gallery

AC editor Bill Black has long had an interest in reprinting or recreating wonderfully schlocky comics of yesteryear. In the 1994 Gorgana’s Ghoul Gallery, he continues the trend with tales like “I Released the Muck Man!” and “The Haunted Corpse!”

The stories in this short-lived series were hosted by a ghoulish alien named Gorgana. In addition to gleefully introducing the reader to each story, she got a chance to personally partake in some merry mayhem in the final tale, “Mortal Combat!” There, she and a fellow alien used human beings as toys in a life-and-death version of a typical video game.
