Not only can he escape from anything—be it ropes or chains or even a straitjacket—but the amazing Escapeman can even elude the police. Of course, this particular bunch doesn’t seem too bright, and the clown costume was pretty convincing, so maybe he just got lucky.

The adventures of Escapeman are loosely based on the supposedly real escapades of the author, who gave up medical school to become a San Francisco street performer.
