Once they were known as L.E.G.I.O.N., the Licensed Extra-Governmental Interstellar Operatives Network. Led by Vril Dox II, their number included Stealth, Phase, Strata, and the infamous Lobo. These super-powered heroes were the core of a force of peacekeepers that maintained order on countless worlds—for a price.

Then the cloned Yril Dox managed to seize control of L.E.G.I.O.N.’s military operations and brainwash the rank and file. Vril and his core teammates were forced to flee for their lives. Now they are R.E.B.E.L.S. (periods included for tradition’s sake, we imagine), and must fight their own colleagues for survival.
