Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire

    (Dark Horse, 1996-1997, 2007)
™ and ©1996 Lucasfilm Ltd.

This title chronicles the continuing adventures of George Lucas’ Star Wars characters and what they did between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.

As Boba Fett made his way with the carbonite-frozen body of Han Solo back to Jabba the Hutt, he ran into other bounty hunters who didn’t think he should have all that reward to himself. Luke Skywalker found himself wanted either dead or alive, depending on which bounty hunter was after him. Princess Leia, attempting to infiltrate the Black Sun organization, found herself disguised as a Ubesian bounty hunter and strangely attracted to Prince Xizor, Black Sun’s leader and the Emperor’s secret ally.

Shadows of the Empire was so popular, a whole new line of action figures came out based on many of the characters.
