Underlords: Trendal’s Legacy

Equal parts fantasy, science fiction and super-hero adventure, this series from Eidolon Studios chronicles the adventures of a group of born-again godlings who serve as a peace-keeping force for the universe; a good bit of exposition early in the first issue explains that they are the result of a deadly feud between two ancient gods.

The cast is huge, but a core team becomes the focus of the first four-issue story arc: Romus is the leader of the Underlords and the most powerful of the lot; Coda leads the main mission team and possesses a stringray energy blast; Sirvo is a tracker of unparalleled ability with heightened speed and agility; Teaa is an amorous free spirit with super-strength and invulnerability; Fiera has fire-based abilities; and Magi uses harmonic energies to cast spells. This team of Underlords is pitted against Shaden, a ravager who uses force to fulfill his desires for universal domination.

nker and creator Greg Robinson, writer Rick Beckley, and artist Abdul Rashid offer up a concept with tons of background and, therefore, nearly unlimited story possibilities.
