A team of super-hero detectives for hire to whom no case is too unusual—or too dangerous. If the money is attractive and there are plenty of opportunities to either beat people up or to meet beautiful women, it’s bound to entrance at least one member of this irreverent, oft-bickering team.

In one story arc, the group—including an elastic man; a former spy with some dark secrets; a wisecracking alien; two women who represent the brains, and the “kick-ass” attitude of the group—is hired by a vampire to capture a killer, while in another they’re forced to confront a past that has a reach from even beyond the grave. Wherever the case takes them, the adventurers keep their cool, making for a sharp-witted series with a focus on fun. Written by Dan Vado and illustrated by Chuck Austen, Pete Krause, and Aldin Baroza, this black-and-white series helped put Slave Labor Graphics on the map.
