Think of StormWatch as a super-powered United Nations task force. Far above the earth, the U.N.’s Skywatch orbital platform monitors the goings-on across the Earth. There, a solemn man fitted with cyborg appendages analyzes world crisis points. And when things get too hot in places such as Kuwait or Sarajevo, this man—Weatherman One—orders in the StormWatch team.

StormWatch One consists of Fuji, a hulking Japanese powerhouse; Diva, a beautiful mutant with a sonic scream; Winter, a Russian with cold powers, Hellstrike, a flyer capable of firing withering energy blasts, and their leader, Battalion, a psionic who (with the help of his Cyber-Tran suit) possesses the awesome firepower of his namesake. Like the U.N., these heroes come from different nations, but they have all pledged their lives to defend the global community.
