Familiar with bad girl books, where teams of tightly garbed super-models fight crime in black leather? Where the creator desperately tries to give said super-models individual personalities, but they all end up sounding like the same vapid valley girl? Welcome to another one. Reminiscent of the much superior Danger Girl, Victoria’s Secret Service is a group of female British spies who team up to perform every cliché under the sun, from sneaking into an underwater hideout through the sewer system to stealing jewels out of a glass case surrounded by lasers. It’s nothing that hasn’t been done better somewhere else, many times over. If you like sexy female adventurers, grab a Modesty Blaise book instead.
