Beetle Bailey (Vol. 2)

Harvey Comics tried to return to comics publishing again in the early 1990s by featuring classic comic book characters. One such character was Beetle Bailey, Mort Walker’s popular military bumbler, who has appeared in various comic book titles a number of times. Beetle is a young private who serves as a constant source of irritation for Sergeant Snorkle. Beetle’s stories are lightweight gags, drawn in a clean, simple style. As a comic book, however, it was not as successful as Harvey had hoped, and concluded after just eight issues.
