This publication features the antics of Roger the Dodger, the Three Bears, Bea and Gnipper, and the Numskulls, among many other features. Each issue contains several short stories, games, and activities reprinted in digest form from England‘s legendary kid’s comic The Beano.

As examples of the series, in “Small Change,” infant Bea decides it would be fun to switch places with her little dog Gnipper, so Gnipper goes strolling with mom, while Bea stays home to cause dog-like mischief.

In “Store Wars,” Papa Bear finds himself in an old, underground tunnel that appears to be haunted. Is he dreaming, or will he really find the store of popcorn and sandwiches he craves?

Finally, in “Draught Dodging,” Roger the Dodger will go to any lengths to get his teacher to open the classroom window, even if it lands him in the principal’s office.
