The wizard Eggbert is up to no good again as he plans to wage bloody war in Elfheim with the aid of the nefarious demon Stigg. In fact, his judgement is so clouded by thoughts of victory and vanquish over King Hawk Erickson that he is willing to use his own son Turo as a blood sacrifice. There is a lot of ambiguous sexual innuendo and imagery throughout the story, which cannot be readily dismissed. Elves are depicted as androgynous adolescents and the reasons are best left to the reader’s imagination. Nonetheless, it has a niche in the marketplace as there are three titles sustaining this particular mythology: Elflord, Elfheim and Elflore.
