Just Imagine Stan Lee With John Cassaday Creating Crisis

The “Just Imagine…” series teamed long-time Marvel Comics icon Stan Lee with various artists, to recreate DC’s most popular characters using only their names as a starting point. Although each book was self-contained, they were loosely tied together in a story-arc that culminated in this issue.

Lee’s versions of characters such as Catwoman, Superman, Sandman, Wonder Woman, and Green Lantern join forces to battle the creature Crisis, whose power threatens to destroy the world and, possibly, the entire universe. Unfortunately, this fledgling Justice League can barely function as a team. What chance do these heroes have against such a powerful enemy, especially when they are betrayed by one of their own?

This issue also features the debut of Stan Lee’s recreations of Hawkman and Atom, both connected, in a bizarre twist, to the fate of Robin.
