Merging characters from the successful Death’s Head II and Motormouth titles, BattleTide pits the over-brawned, under-brained Killpower against the schizoid killing machine, Death’s Head II. The two are brought together by the inhabitants of Colosseum, a planetoid dedicated to bloody gladiatorial battle. To complicate things, several more of Earth’s heroes, including Dark Angel, Motormouth, and the X-Men’s Wolverine and Psylocke are also captured. Colosseum’s goal: to use these heroes as competitors in an intergalactic battle royal.
