The Quest of the Tiger Woman takes place in a post-apocalyptic world after most of the Earth’s population fled to the stars. As a result, a computer genius who calls himself “Zeus” is free to conduct large-scale experiments in creation and destiny and repopulates Earth with genetically altered versions of characters from Greek mythology.

But one woman, raised by Tigers, has no fear of gods. The Tiger Woman goes to Zeus to ask for his help in killing a murderous Gryphon. The scientist is intrigued by this bold intruder and sees her as the means to gather a tissue sample from the Gryphon, so that he might complete the ultimate creation—a Phoenix. This man/god should have known, however, that the Tiger Woman is no easily controlled beast or servant. Armed with Zeus’s armor and a genetically created Pegasus, she does battle with the Gryphon—and in so doing burns down Olympus.
