Northstar Press jumped into the comic industry in the early 90s with a line of mostly horror and fantasy-themed books like Miseroth: Amok Hell and Cenotaph. The first issue of this black and white title intended as a horror anthology, featured work by James O’Barr renowned for creating The Crow. O’Barr’s dark and moody art was very appropriate for this genre. Unfortunately many of the publisher’s titles failed to run past two issues.
