X-Force/Youngblood

™ and © 1996 Marvel Characters, Inc. and Rob Liefeld

X-Force/Youngblood combines the super-hero team that Rob Liefeld used to help launch the Image line of comics, Youngblood, with the Marvel team, X-Force, which helped define his career. A follow-up to the previously released and similarly titled crossover, Youngblood/X-Force, the two title teams are reunited on the other reality Mojoworld to help it’s denizens in their fight against that planet’s dictator, Mojo. Filled with a large cast of heroes and villains from two comic book companies, X-Force/Youngblood sees the two title teams join forces in an effort to quell Mojo’s climbing media ratings, the way in which power is decided on Mojoworld. Along the way, battles are waged, friendships are made, and comrades thought to be lost surprisingly return. Arguably the most notable thing about this one-shot that combines two such Liefeld-related properties is the fact that Liefeld himself settles for an editorial role, eschewing the art and writing to others.
