SOB: Special Operations Branch

Nearly ten years in the making, this title marked the launch of the Promethean Studios line of comics. Its stars are a group of super-powered soldiers from various branches of the armed services. This group is sent in to take on missions too dangerous for others to handle.

The Special Operations Branch (or “SOB”) is headed by Major James T. Greene, a.k.a. Orion. His super-powers include increased strength, the ability to fly, and near invulnerability. What makes him a leader, however, is his sharp mind and tactical skill. Other members of the team include Polymorph, a shapeshifter; Ferret, a ferocious warrior; and Moon, who can mentally cloud minds and become “invisible” to them. The squad’s membership rotates depending on the nature of the mission—as well as when replacements are needed for those who lost their lives on previous runs.
