The Justice Machine (Millennium)
(Millennium, 1992)
™ and ©1992 Millennium Publications, Inc.
It seems like The Justice Machine goes through publishers like the proverbial hot potato. In this 1992, the team wound up at Millennium for this two-issue mini-series.
The Justice Machine is a team of super-powered policemen from the totalitarian planet Georwell. Following their rebellion and earlier adventures, they became permanently exiled on Earth. Here they act as super-heroes, occasionally sparring with other Georwellians who have come to Earth to cause trouble.
In “The Chimera Conspiracy,” the Machine’s arch enemy and fellow Georwellian Doctor Zarren makes an astonishing discovery—Georwell has been destroyed. The reason: Georwell is actually Earth, some nine hundred years in the future. His own battles with the Justice Machine led to events which effectively wiped out the dark future he knew (and loved). Now he wants to restore it.
