Walt Disney’s 19th fully animated feature film (according to their count) was an adaptation of Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book. Although a very loose adaptation, it was nonetheless a highly successful feature film, and also as a comic book adaptation—so much so that Gold Key commissioned a few one shot spin-off titles featuring a few of the movies’ main stars, of which this is one. There was also another spin-off released around the same time called Baloo and Little Britches.
