Yes, this is another 1990s female vampire, but Leland Myrick manages to put an interesting spin on the overdone premise. Instead of yet another story about an ultracool street vampire preying on humanity, Sweet takes the victim’s point of view… a willing, eager victim at that. Artwork is spare but not lacking, and the characters, though nameless, are developed and intriguing.

The story revolves around a male college student who is visited one night by the seductive female vampire and becomes obsessesd with her. He prevents her from taking other victims, but it is out of jealousy rather than altruism. He pursues her, trying to thwart her from attacking anyone else but himself.
