Ah, True Love! It can mean unlimited happiness for those lucky enough to experience it. But, as many of the stories in this series show, finding it can be pretty tough. Luckily, the stories also always have a happy ending, reinforcing the notion that every woman will eventually find the one man meant for her. But for those girls out there who can’t seem to snag the right guy, this series also regularly included an advice column for the love-lorn.

Even though romance comics had their heyday in the 40’s and 50’s, publishers kept trying for decades. Unfortunately, titles like this one didn’t just suffer from a lack of interest in the genre, they also lacked the big-name artists and writers often seen in the early books.
