Venom: Sinner Takes All

In this limited series, Venom, the murderer-turned-hero, takes on a new incarnation of the Sin-Eater. The Sin-Eater is an oversized vigilante with a gun, with the especially charming habit of firing shotgun blasts at his victims while misquoting Scripture at them. Now it seems he’s out to destroy all that Eddie/Venom held dear.

In the aftermath of the Carnage Unleashed incident where video game testers were killed while on-line, a business executive is put on trial for murder. Unknown to Bennet Field, the attorney, his assistant, Ann Weyrin, was Eddie Brock’s ex-wife. Too bad for him because the Sin-Eater shows up at court to take his revenge out on Ann for an earlier battle between Venom and himself. Within moments of his appearance, Field and the video game executive were dead, and Weyrin was critically wounded. Needless to say, this launched Venom into an all-out frenzy to put a stop to this new Sin-Eater once and for all.
